HPA uses Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery chemistry — the safest and most thermally stable lithium technology available. LFP batteries have excellent cycle life (3,000+ cycles), minimal degradation in high-temperature environments, and built-in fire resistance compared to other lithium chemistries.
Battery-only run time depends on your site load and the battery capacity we install. In practice, BESS systems are sized to bridge the low-solar and peak-demand windows rather than power the site indefinitely — the generator provides backup for extended low-generation periods.
Yes. HPA's containerised BESS is designed to integrate with existing diesel generators via a power conversion system (PCS). Our engineers will assess your current setup and specify the right integration approach.
